How do I make an appointment to see Dr. Slosar in person?
Please call my office for an appointment - 650-985-7547
Can you give me medical advice over the internet?
Short answer: "NO"
At this time, the best I can do (and safest for you, the patient) is make to my website responsive to generic questions and keep things current. If you want a specific topic covered, then please make the suggestion and I will do my best to accommodate. If you need specific medical advice about your condition you must come in and see me in the office.
What is a Virtual appointment?
A "virtual appointment" is not entirely "virtual" but a service I offer to patients that may have to travel a long distance for their consultation. I have the patient fill out an online questionnaire about their spine problem and they send their tests (MRI’s, X-Rays, etc.) to me in the office.
After I review their case, we connect on the phone to discuss the specifics and I send you a report with my suggestions (not medical advice). I charge a fee for this service but it can save you considerable time and resources (gas money) if I can save you a trip to the office or make your first visit more efficient. These are not meant to substitute for an in-person evaluation. If you live close it is preferable to make a regular appointment in the office.
