Dr. Slosar Named Among the Top 100 in the Country
Spine industry newsletter, Becker’s Orthopedic & Spine Review, released today (24 Feb 2011) their annual list of the top 100 spine surgeons in the country. Dr. Paul Slosar, a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon has been named to the list. Only two other orthopedic surgeons in the San Francisco area were similarly recognized by Becker’s.

In contrast to most surgeons, I focus first on trying to find a non-surgical option for my patients. I am lucky enough to have some of the best spinal injection specialists and pain management doctors in the country as my partners. Most of the patients I see have a problem that we can solve with a simple treatment or injection rather than surgery. If surgery is necessary, I strive to perform the least invasive, smallest "footprint" operation that will best treat your injury.
